OUR COURSES
Separate to lessons, we also offer online courses in violin, music theory and effective practice technique. These are designed as an extra resource adding structure and direction to home practice sessions for those already enrolled in lessons and are offered at a discounted rate to our eligible online students. They are also ideal for people not ready or able to commit to regular lessons and as an educational tool for parents who would like to assist with their child's practice.
Because violin is a tricky instrument to learn without the guidance of a teacher, we offer one off 'Technique Check' lessons live or via correspondence for those course participants not enrolled in lessons who want some feedback on their progress. Ideal for self-directed learners, the course combined with semi-regular 'Technique Checks' provides quality education at a much lower price than traditional weekly lessons, making violin playing more accessible to everyone.
And for those of you who never quite got a grasp of music theory - 'How Music Works - Understanding Music Theory' is launching later in the year!

Hi, I’m Clare!
I'm a professional violinist and music teacher from Melbourne, Australia. After a year of teaching online during the pandemic, I noticed how much my students had progressed and realised the potential of online education. I began working hard researching and developing online methods and resources, in the hope of offering high quality education and opportunities to those students in remote areas without easy access to music tuition.
